Total Serial Numbers Movement

alameen ERP contains reports for following the movement of serial numbers and their profits, including the "Total Serial Numbers Movement" report.

Report Purpose

The "Total Serial Numbers Movement" report is used to study the inputs and outputs made on materials: it shows all the input and output operations made on a particular serial number, with the total of these operations.

You can request the report to find the movement of a serial number, or of the serial numbers of a material or group of materials. You can also request the report for the movement of the serial numbers in a particular warehouse, account, or cost center, or for the serial numbers that came in or went out through a salesman or distributor, over a period you set yourself.

The report shows the material name and its serial number, a column for the quantity and value of the inputs, another column for the quantity and value of the outputs, and a column for the difference between the quantities and value of the inputs and outputs. The preview interface lets you add more material fields (group name, Source...) with the field list in the interface.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Total Serial Numbers Movement report from the main ribbon - Materials tab - Reports group - the drop-down list of the Serial Number Reports button.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.

The window lets you set the criteria and data you want the report to show. It includes several main sections, such as the filter fields, the materials terms, the various options, and the sources the report is drawn from.
