Serial Number Movement over Several Years

alameen ERP contains reports for following the movement of serial numbers and their profits, including the "Serial Number Movement over Several Years" report.

Report Purpose

The "Serial Number Movement over Several Years" report is used to study the movement of the serial numbers of a particular material during the previous years and the current year, and to find the sale and purchase operations in which this material was used by serial number, over a set period.

You can request the report to find the movement of a particular serial number over several years, which helps you check the sale operations when a material is returned, and you can also request the report for a number of serial numbers starting from a number you set in the field for that purpose in the report window.

The report shows the date and type of the invoice, the customer account (if any), the name of the moved material and its serial number, and its price in the invoice, and you can add report fields (discounts, additions...), material fields (group name, Model...), invoice item fields (Item Notes, Expiry Date...), and invoice fields (payment type, Down Payment...).

Tip

To reach the movement of a serial number over several years, you must link the files of the previous years to the file of the current year. Note that you cannot link a file whose dates overlap with the current file.

You can link the files of the previous year to the current file from the "Connection Parameters of Previous Years Files" window, which opens after you request the program options window - Link tab - Link Files button.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Serial Number Movement over Several Years report from the main ribbon - Materials tab - Reports group - the drop-down list of the Serial Number Reports button.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:
