Missing Serial Numbers

alameen ERP contains reports for following the movement of serial numbers and their profits, including the "Missing Serial Numbers" report.

Report Purpose

The "Missing Serial Numbers" report shows the invoices that contain materials with serial numbers that were not recorded on input or output. For example, when you enable the "Force on Input" option for a material, but you had already added a purchase (input) invoice for items of the material without serial numbers, this report tells you the number of items without a serial number and the invoices that contained them; the same applies when the serial number is forced on output.

You can request the report to find the missing serial numbers of a particular material, or of a group of materials, or the serial numbers moved in the invoices of a particular customer, account, or cost center, over a period you set yourself in the report window.

The report shows the date of the invoice in which the serial number moved, the invoice type, the customer name (if any), the material name, and the total number of missing serial numbers. You can add more material fields (Source, Specifications...), invoice item fields (Item Warehouse, Production Date...), and invoice fields (currency, payment type...) with the field list in the report preview interface.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the "Missing Serial Numbers" report from the main ribbon - Materials tab - Reports group - the drop-down list of the Serial Number Reports button.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.

The window lets you set the criteria and data you want the report to show. It includes several main sections, such as the filter fields, the materials terms, the advanced options, and the sources the report is drawn from.
