Material Movement by Unit

alameen ERP provides detailed reports on the movement of materials to help you follow up profits and inventory precisely, including the "Material Movement by Unit" report.

Report Purpose

The Material Movement by Unit report finds the movement of the units of a material separately. For example, when you add a material card named "Orange juice" and define on the "Units" tab of the card unit 1 (can), unit 2 (box), and unit 3 (package), and you used all these units in sale and purchase operations, you can find the movement of each unit of the material separately with this report.

The report shows the quantity of the material moved in each unit, with the quantity matching the unit: the report contains a quantity column for each unit separately. Applied to the previous example, the report shows the movement quantity of the juice can, of the juice box, and of the juice package within the date you set in the report window.

You can request the report for the movement of one material or of a group of materials, and find the movement of the units of the materials in a particular warehouse or cost center.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Material Movement by Unit report from the main ribbon - Materials tab - Cross-tab Reports group - the drop-down list of the Cross-tab Reports button.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.

Report Window

The window lets you set the criteria and data you want the report to show. It includes several main sections, such as the filter fields, the materials terms, the various options, and the sources the report is drawn from.
