Trial Balance of Cost Centers

alameen ERP contains a number of reports for following cost centers and their journal entries, including the "Trial Balance of Cost Centers" report.

Report Purpose

The "Trial Balance of Cost Centers" report is used to check that the accounting operations of a cost center are correct, in terms of the expenses and revenues recorded in the cost center, and to get the balance of a set cost center over a particular period.

The report shows the debit and credit balance values of the cost centers, and you can add more fields to the report (Total Debit Balance, total credit balance, Balance percent...) and cost center fields (Cost Center Code, Main Cost Center...).

The report window provides the "Balance Options" field, where you choose from a list that contains: Balance Of Balances (the default), Balances, and Sums. You can also set the type of trial balance by which you want to show the report.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Trial Balance of Cost Centers report from the main ribbon - Centers tab - Cost Centers Reports group.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.

Report Window

The window lets you set the criteria and data you want the report to show. It includes several main sections, such as the filter fields, the balance options, the various options, and the sources the report is drawn from.
