Fixed Asset Movement

alameen ERP contains a number of reports for following the operations and movement of fixed assets, including the "Fixed Asset Movement" report.

Report Purpose

The "Fixed Asset Movement" report shows the details of the movement of a particular fixed asset, of one sub asset, or of a materials group that fixed assets belong to. The report shows the details of the asset over a period whose end you set in the report window.

The data of the report is shown in detail for the fixed asset and the sub assets under it. The fixed asset row shows the date the asset was entered and its entry value, the value of the additions and disposals, and the net asset value, as well as the value of the depreciations, the current asset value, the maintenance, the salvage value, and the productive age of the asset. You can add more report fields with the field list in the report preview interface.

When you expand the fixed asset row, the report shows the data of the origin of the entries that moved it, such as the entry date and value, and the value of the additions, depreciations, and maintenance.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Fixed Asset Movement report from the main ribbon - Assets tab - Reports group - the drop-down list of the Reports button.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.

The window lets you set the criteria and data you want the report to show. It includes several main sections, such as the filter fields and the sources the report is drawn from.
