Currencies Trial Balance

alameen ERP provides a set of tools and reports that help you set the exchange rates and follow the prices of currencies, including the "Currencies Trial Balance" report.

Report Purpose

The "Currencies Trial Balance" report shows the values of the debit and credit movements in the different currencies you used with a particular account over a period you set yourself.

The report shows the balance of the account over the period in the local currency (the main currency) and its balance in the foreign currencies: it shows the account name, the currency used, the debit/credit value, and the balance of the account in this currency.

When you select the option "Show previous balance" in the report window, the previous balance in the local and foreign currencies (debit/credit, account balance) appears for the account, from the beginning of the period to the date set in the "From" field.

You can reach more details about the account by adding new fields to the report with the field list in the report preview interface.

You can request the report to show the currencies trial balance of a particular account or cost center, and choose the currency to filter on: the window lets you choose one of the currencies defined in the file.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Currencies Trial Balance report from the main ribbon - Accounts tab - Currencies group - the drop-down list of the Currencies button.

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.
