Accounts and Budgets

alameen ERP provides budget and final accounts reports to give a comprehensive and accurate view of your company's financial performance, including the "Account Movement" report.

Report Purpose

The "Accounts and Budgets" report gives the budget of an account and also shows the actual balance of the account within the defined accounting periods. The report shows the difference between these two figures (the budget and the balance): the difference is the amount still left before the account covers its budgeted amount, or the amount by which the account exceeded its budgeted amount for a period.

Tip

You can set the budget of the account over the period you need with the account budget card, available on the main ribbon - Accounts tab - Budget group.

You can request the report without setting a particular account, and it shows the budget of all the accounts in all the periods. You can also set an account or a cost center, choose the currency and the budget periods (From Period - To Period), and set the actual date.

Reaching the Report

You can reach the Accounts and Budgets report from the main ribbon - Accounts tab - Budget group - the drop-down list of the Budget button.

Once requested, the report window appears as follows:

The report window contains various fields and options that help you view the details you need.

Report Window

The window lets you set the criteria and data you want the report to show. It includes several main sections, such as the filter fields, the actual date, the budget periods, and many various options.
