Account Budget Card
The account budget card sets the budget value of an account over a specific period. You can also set the budget of accounts according to their movement with cost centers.
You open the account budget card from the Accounts tab on the main ribbon - "Budget" group.
It appears as follows:

Main Fields
The account budget card consists of several fields for adding all the information needed to define it as one of the account budgets in alameen:
Card Number and Navigation Buttons
Please see Serial Number and Navigation Buttons.
Security Level
Please see Security Level.
Account
Set in this field the account for which you want to set an estimated budget, or look it up with the search icon in the field (this field is mandatory).
Currency
Set automatically to the basic currency used in the program when the file was created (see Program Options - Default Values).
Cost Center
Set in this column the cost center that the estimated account budget will follow: double-click an empty cell in the "Cost Center" column, then type the name of the cost center or look it up by typing one or more letters of it and pressing Enter to show a list of the available cost centers.
If you do not set a cost center, an estimated budget is set for the account across all your cost centers.
Period
Set in this column an accounting period you defined earlier in Program Options > Accounting Periods: double-click the cell you want to fill in the "Period" column to open a list of the defined accounting periods. You can also choose "None"; in that case, the program's default accounting period is used, which is the fiscal year defined when the file was created (see Program Options > Default Values).
Debit
Enter the debit amount, if any, in this column. Debit or credit data is mandatory, so one of the two columns must be filled in.
Credit
Enter the credit amount, if any, in this column. Debit or credit data is mandatory, so one of the two columns must be filled in.
Branch
You can set the branch that the estimated account budget will follow.
Total
This field shows the total of the amounts entered in the "Debit" and "Credit" columns, each separately.
Standard Commands
Please see Standard Commands.
After you add an account budget card that includes one or more cost centers, the program automatically generates a budget card (or cards) for the cost centers listed in the table, linked to this account.
When you try to add an account budget card without entering a debit or credit amount, an error message appears.
