Expiry Date System
When you deal in food, medical, or any goods with a set expiry date, you can process expiry dates easily in the program. All you need to do is follow these steps to start:
First: Show the "Expiry Date" field in the window of the invoice in which you want to use expiry dates. You can show the field as follows:
-
Go to the Management tab on the main ribbon.
-
Click "Forms Management".
-
Click the "Invoices" tab in the "Forms Management" window that opens.
-
Click "Edit" and go to the invoice form you want.
-
Go to the "Table Fields" tab in the "Invoices Forms" window of that form.
-
Select the "Expiry Date" field. When the blue √ mark appears, the field is added to the invoice window.

Second: Enable the option "Ask for the expiry date of each item in the invoice", as follows:
In the Program Options window - "File Options" tab - "Invoices" group.

The program asks you to set the expiry date of the material being issued as soon as you enter the material name in output invoices (sales, transpositions...). Choose the date you want from the list of dates, which contains the expiry dates as saved in the input invoices, sorted in ascending order, next to the material quantities.
You can enable the option "Expiry date system is first in, first out" on the "Save" tab of the Program Options window, so that output invoices automatically take the expiry dates of materials from the oldest to the newest.
Third: Enable the "Expiry Date" option in the material card.
Enable the option in the card of each material on which you want to enforce an expiry date, using the "Expiry Date" options on the "Options" tab of the card.

You can now start entering and issuing materials, and get a report of the time left before the materials in the warehouses expire, using the Materials Movement by Expiry Date report.
When you carry forward a file that contains materials with expiry dates, you can take the dates into account by enabling the "Process Expiry Date" option in the expiry date window during the Balances Carried Forward process, so that the program keeps the expiry dates of the materials in the files of the new year.
